Just to be clear (unlike the picture above), the upcoming Cactus Cafe show this week is for UT students only. We just found that out, so spread the word amongst the un-enrolled (like us).
This UT event listing says doors are at 7:30 PM; we start at 8:00. Directions at the UT site.
Available for preorder now at your friendly local record shop, on your favorite internet music service, and/or at our Bandcamp page.

So I learned today that the Japanese version of A Most Remarkable Creature is now listed on the publisher's web site. [Seidosha.co.jp]. !!!
Besides feeling generally amazed at this, the thought of translator Tomoyuki Matoba (@tama_lion) taking the time and care to work through every word of my book is overwhelming. I feel dumbstruck with gratitude. (JM) ... See MoreSee Less

Dear Friends: for the last four years, I've been posting "Mangled Classics" on my low-key Patreon page (patreon.com/jonathanmeiburg) —solo performances of songs I admire, serious and silly.
So far there are 55 MCs, and I've compiled them into albums as annual gifts for patrons, featuring genuine, authentic mistakes, flubbed lyrics, and sometimes questionable sound quality. But they're real, raw, and—for me, at least—a lot of fun.
I'll never release them officially. But if you'd like to hear them, for the next two weeks, I'll share all four volumes of Mangled Classics with anyone who joins the page, at any paid level.
But if that doesn't appeal, don't worry; we'll have more news soon. Watch this space.

Fantastic news! Cannot wait to hear this.
Great news! In the meantime, I’ll keep listening with joy to the previous work while looking forward to the next!
You never let us down. I’m so excited! ❤️
Best Friday news ever!!🎶🎶🎶
Great news! Looking forward to hearing it.
This makes me so happy! Coincidentally, I’ve been listening to The Great Awakening this week.
Great news!! One of the absolute best shows I’ve ever been to was Shearwater in Austin a few years ago when you chipped your tooth on the microphone. Please say we have more live shows to look forward to in the near future? (Preferably with less tooth-chippage)
Bring it.
Great! My favourite band! I’m so glad! Go for it!
Woo hoo!
looking forward to the new album and a visit to the north of France 🙏
Awesome!
Best news today!
Best news of 2024!!
