Say hello to Shearwater, class of 2026! Jonathan Meiburg, Dan Duszynski, Emily Lee, J Halp, & Sam Pankey
Free (practice) show! This Friday at Radio South @radiocoffeeandbeer in Austin at 8PM. Any Kind (@dandysounds) will be opening, and we'll be trying out a bunch of songs we may or may not be playing on our upcoming European tour. We promise to know some songs by then. We hope. (EL)
For Bandcamp Friday, we’re releasing a new song, “Light Governance” from New World Vultures, the companion LP to The New World—which we’ll release exclusively on Bandcamp next year.)
NWV has its own identity; it’s bit looser and lighter, though since it’s us, it also shimmers with contradictions. Many of its songs were recorded very late at night, and seemed to blow in on the wind. Like this one.

Lastly, a gentle reminder: we’ll be on tour in northern Europe and the UK with L O M A from October 31 to November 22nd, and we’d love to see you there.
You can find all the tour dates in our bio and at www.shearwatermusic.com.

JM / SW
