Here’s a science-oriented intro to my book, A Most Remarkable Creature — but don’t be fooled, there’s a lot more than science in there. (JM)

Really glad you're safe. Is it too late to get the sound of breaking/melting ice on the new record?😉
So glad you folks are safe and warm!
Glad you’re all safe!
Glad you're safe!
That is wonderful to know, on both counts.
I was just wondering how you were...
I just read Heather Cox Richardson's post about Tim Boyd. "Only the strong will survive and the weak will parish [sic]" Glad to see that you did not "parish"
how are there two of you in this picture??

Just finished recording the audiobook for #amostremarkablecreature, in the same booth where I'm doing the vocals for the new SW album. Gave me a new respect for readers of audio books, voiceover actors, etc...it turns out reading aloud is very much like singing, but for hours on end. After a while, it was really hard to resist reading the book's many quotes in a Werner Herzog voice—especially this one: ... See MoreSee Less
Oh wow, yes, definitely ripe for some Herzog! On another note, very cool you're doing the audio for your own book. :}
I recently discovered the joy of reading any short responses in online forums in Herzog's voice. An endless sea of Werners replying to each other.
I had a very different moment of appreciating authors who put in the work the other day. I was not surprised to discover that Neil Young’s _Waging Heavy Peace_ was not read by the author, but who would sit through it if it were read by anybody else??
How about David Attenborough's voice? ;)
Not Herzog, but Orson Welles?
Jonathan Meiburg narrating a book about birds in the style of Werner Herzog... are you trying to seduce me? Because this is how you seduce me.
A new President in January. Meiburg and Ishiguro books in March. New Murakami book in April. 2021 is looking more hopeful by the day! 🙏🏼📚🎶
I am *so* excited that you're doing the audiobook for this. This is going to make for some seriously cozy crochet nights.
