We taped an in-studio set for Sirius 29/XM 50’s The Loft back in…September or October, I think the same day we did the Tiny Desk Concert for NPR. It’s set to air this week, at the following times (EST): Monday 3/16 12pm, Wednesday 3/18 2pm, Friday 3/20 3am, Saturday 3/21 12pm, Monday 3/23 1am, Monday 3/20 2am.

We’ve just hit a milestone I never imagined we would: we sold out of the digital versions of our epic live performance of David Bowie’s Berlin Trilogy.
But never fear: we’ve just purchased 100 more licenses from the songs’ copyright holders - so those 100 copies will be for sale on our bandcamp page this Bandcamp Friday.
This makes me a little misty; not only were those shows our last live performance to date, it feels like Mr Jones himself is high-fiving us from the great beyond.
These recordings are not available for streaming anywhere (except when WNYC/New Sounds re-airs them, as they’ve done once or twice). So the only way you can hear them is by purchasing them on our bandcamp page.
If you haven’t heard them, and would like to, all I can say is you’re in for a treat. Our all-star ensemble worked their tails off for these performances, and I’m really proud of them, even though it was an unusual detour for Shearwater.

Dear Friends -
For the final week of the crowdfunding campaign for The New World, we've added a few more perks courtesy of our pal Mark Ohe, who sent us a care package of tour posters from our Matador and Sub Pop days.
We hadn't seen some of these in many years; posters tend to get pretty beaten up on tours, or lost in the shuffle. But Mark O, bless him, had kept a few of them in one piece, and he signed 'em too. (So did I).
Needless to say, we're still a bit bewildered by the success of the campaign; we spent the last two weeks in the studio, and we're getting close to landing this thing.
