We taped an in-studio set for Sirius 29/XM 50’s The Loft back in…September or October, I think the same day we did the Tiny Desk Concert for NPR. For the final week of the crowdfunding campaign for The New World, we've added a few more perks courtesy of our pal Mark Ohe, who sent us a care package of tour posters from our Matador and Sub Pop days.
We hadn't seen some of these in many years; posters tend to get pretty beaten up on tours, or lost in the shuffle. But Mark O, bless him, had kept a few of them in one piece, and he signed 'em too. (So did I).
Needless to say, we're still a bit bewildered by the success of the campaign; we spent the last two weeks in the studio, and we're getting close to landing this thing.
