We will be playing one of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts tomorrow, October 16th, at 4:30PM. This means that we’ll be huddled around Bob Boilen’s desk, playing a few acoustic versions of songs from Rook. It’s good to be on the road in America again, especially since this probably marks the end of this year’s major touring in the USA. The fall colors are beautiful here in the northeast. A happy new year to all of you from Antarctica, where I’m deep in book research and tagging along with a crew of mad scientists. Here’s a small, happy bit of news: last week, with help from @stevefallone and the great folks at @sterlingsound, we finally mastered our upcoming album, The New World. We’re eager to let it out in the world next year…and a little relieved to stop listening so closely after many months of work.
